Requirements for transfer students will be determined on the basis of their successful completion of the minimum load requirements of the school previously attended. State and local standards may also limit flexibility.
All students will be required to carry a minimum of (7) credits per year. Students must complete at least twenty-five (25) credits for graduation*. Students, who are not in attendance at Northland Pines High School for their entire senior year, may not be eligible for a diploma from Northland Pines High School.

The following credits must be earned in order to qualify for graduation. *(25 credits)* as noted below.
English: 4 credits* (min. one credit per year 9-12) Mathematics: 3 credits (min one credit per year 9-11) Science: 3 credits (min one credit per year 9-11) Social Studies: 3.5 credits **(min. one credit per year 9-11) Physical Education: 1.5 credits (min of 1/2 credit per year 9-11) Health:.50 credits (1/4 in Jr. High) Electives: 9.75 credits U.S. History*: 1 credit (required freshmen year) World History*: 1 credit OR World Geography: 1 credit Political Science*: ½ credit AND Social Problems: ½ credit AND Economics: ½ credit * The courses listed above are required to be completed prior to graduation.
*Class of 2014: 28 Credits *Class of 2015: 27 Credits *Class of 2016: 26 Credits
*All classes from 2017 and on will need 25 Credits for Graduation

In accordance with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction guidelines, exceptions to the above may be granted by the principal of the school if he/she deems such to be appropriate and for the benefit of the individual students involved. The criteria for such exceptions shall be determined by the principal and may include written and/or oral examinations if such are considered as essential to proper determination of pupil placements.
