Athletic Hall of Fame
The Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is looking for nominations for future considerations to the Hall of Fame. Three categories of nominees will be considered for membership.
- Athlete - in this category, we will honor those people who have been outstanding achievers at the high school level and/or beyond. An athlete who has satisfied this criteria and has reached the age of 40 is eligible.
- Coaching - criteria for this selection will be based on record, longevity and service at Eagle River Union High School or Northland Pines High School.
- Citation - this category would honor anyone who has been an outstanding contributor to the sports image of Eagle River and the surrounding area. This includes members of the media, administration, trainers, officials, etc.

Once a nomination has been received, the nominee will remain on an active list for future consideration as an inductee into the Hall of Fame.
The Eagle River/Northland Pines High School Athletic Hall of Fame was started in 1993. The induction ceremony is held each fall in conjunction with a Northland Pines Eagles football game. The Athletic Hall of Fame hallway is located between the Fieldhouse and the high school kitchen.
