This program allows high school students to attend any Wisconsin Technical College and enroll in college courses while attending high school. Students would earn dual credit for successful passing the college course. Any course that is not comparable would be paid for by the school district.
Requirements and eligibility include: -Student has completed 10th grade -Student is in good academic standing -Student meets the deadlines of March 1st for the Fall semester, and/or October 1st for the Spring semester -Student must choose courses that are NOT comparable to a high school course -Students will be enrolled only if there is room in the Technical College course -Student must meet admission criteria set forth by the Technical College
Any class taken through a college/university which receives a “W” (withdrawal) on their grade report, will receive an “F” on their high school transcript. Any “I” (incomplete) on their grade report, will receive an “F” on their high school transcript. And any course resulting in an “F” on the grade report will receive an “F” on their high school transcript. Please keep this in mind when making decisions about dual credit.
