Welcome to Northland Pines Middle and High School, Home of the Eagles!

Welcome to Northland Pines! I am truly honored and excited to serve as the Principal of Northland Pines Middle and High School. It is a privilege to join a district with such a strong tradition of academic excellence, outstanding fine arts, athletic programs, and meaningful partnerships with families and the community.

I come to Northland Pines after spending the past 28 years with the Portage Community School District. During that time, I had the opportunity to serve as a Social Studies teacher, multi-sport coach, Dean of Students, and most recently, Activities Director. Each of these roles has strengthened my belief that schools are at their best when students, families, staff, and the community work together towards the common goal of helping every student reach their full potential.

Northland Pines has a long-standing reputation for excellence, and I am excited to build upon that foundation. I appreciate the Board of Education's unwavering commitment to putting students first while supporting our dedicated staff as they strive to provide exceptional learning opportunities and prepare students for success beyond high school. I look forward to working alongside our outstanding staff, students, families, and community members as we continue moving the district forward.

The opportunity to serve as Northland Pines Middle and High School Principal is especially meaningful to me on a personal level. My family has deep roots in the Eagle River community. My father was born and raised in Eagle River and graduated from the Eagle River Union School District in 1954. Throughout my life, I have spent countless days visiting the area, creating wonderful memories with family and friends. It is truly an honor to now become part of a community that has meant so much to my family for generations.

I firmly believe that parent and family involvement plays a vital role in a student's success. I encourage all families to stay actively engaged in their child's educational journey. Attend school events, check Infinite Campus, communicate regularly with teachers, celebrate your child's accomplishments, and become involved in the many opportunities our schools offer. Together, we can create the best possible educational experience for every student.
