NPSD Alumni Hall of Fame

The Northland Pines School District (NPSD) Alumni Hall of Fame Committee works year round to solicit, select and induct new Alumni Hall of Fame members. The ceremony annually coincides with Northland Pines School District graduation.   

The committee selected inductees for the Class of 2026, and we welcomed them to the Northland Pines Alumni Hall of Fame on May 31, 2026.

Darrin Gremban

Darrin Gremban graduated from Northland Pines High School in 1990.  Darrin attended UW-LaCrosse and then went on to Dental School at Marquette University until 1995.  Darrin is a dentist and Owner of Gremban & Gremban Dental from 1997 to present.  Darrin is an Adjunct Professor at Indiana University School of Dentistry.  Darrin is a strong supporter of Northland Pines Athletics and Activities.

Greg Gremban

Greg Gremban graduated from Northland Pines High School in 1987.  Greg attended UW-LaCrosse and then went on to Dental School at Marquette University graduating Cum Laude in 2000.  Greg is a dentist and Owner of Gremban & Gremban Dental from 2000 to present.  Greg is an Adjunct Professor at Indiana University of Dentistry.  Greg is a strong supporter of Northland Pines Athletics and Activities.

Craig Marion

Craig Marion graduated from Northland Pines High School in 1992.  Craig went on to obtain his Masters in Military Operational Arts & Science from Air University in 2010.  Craig received the Distinguished Flying Cross Medal for leading an eight-hour combat mission providing close air support and protection for an Army convoy in Afghanistan following the September 11 attacks.  Craig retired as Lieutenant Colonel, USAF, and F-16 Command Pilot, 2017.

David Weber

David Weber graduated from Northland Pines High School in 1992.  David went on to obtain his Masters at UW-Madison.  David served as a Community Integration Social Worker from 1999-2001.  David then had a distinguished career as a 3rd generation owner of Camp’s Supervalu/Sentry Foods from 2001-2022.  David also served on the Northland Pines Board of Education from 2016-2023; he served as Board President from 2018-2023.  

The Alumni Hall of Fame has been in place since 2008 and has inducted 53 members who are celebrated on a display in the Northland Pines High School foyer. The Alumni Hall of Fame was created with two thoughts in mind. The first is to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of Northland Pines and/or Eagle River Union High School alumni. The second is to bring to the forefront outstanding role models for our current and future student bodies.

The committee is asking community members to submit a nomination form if they know an outstanding alumnus who has been out of high school for at least 20 years. They are also accepting nominations for individuals who have contributed to the school district’s success in ways other than being a student. Nominees may also include teachers, secretarial or custodial personnel, etc. The deadline for the 2027 class nominations is January 31, 2027. If you feel you could nominate a worthy candidate for consideration as an inductee into the Hall of Fame, please fill out this form online or you can print out it out here. Once a nomination has been received, the nominee will remain on an active list for future consideration as an inductee into the Hall of Fame.
