The Northland Pines Montessori Learning Center is a public charter school within the Northland Pines School District. There is no tuition to attend.
What is Montessori?
Montessori education is an educational approach developed by Italian physician and educator, Maria Montessori. It is characterized by an emphasis on independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child's natural psychological, physical, and social development. Dr. Montessori's Method has been time tested, with over 100 years of success in diverse cultures throughout the world. Montessori students learn to be critical thinkers, work collaboratively, and take ownership. There are more than 4,000 Montessori schools in America and thousands more found across six continents.
Mission
To support the whole child socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually through the use of Montessori methodology.
