Participating in high school activities is an excellent way to help build strong core values, time management skills, sense of community and citizenship.
The Northland Pines School District Co-Curricular Handbook has been developed to help students and parents/guardians understand procedures and regulations for participation in all extracurricular activities.
Alpine Race Team
Come ski with our Alpine Race Team. This is open to all students in grades 6-12. Primary competitions are for students in grades 9-12.
Bass Fishing Team
Students in grades 9-12 are welcome to fish with us. We operate in teams of 2 with an adult driver in each boat. Competitions are located throughout the state of Wisconsin. The first year we had this team they also made it to the Nationals which was held on Kentucky Lake in Tennessee!
DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America)
Prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Merchandise with school logo can be purchased.
Eagle Eye News
Eagle Eye News is a group of students dedicated to promoting school events, covering school events as media members and running their own website and Twitter account.
Forensics
Helps students build their public speaking skills, self-confidence, and they also get to have a lot of fun.
German Club
Experience German outside of the classroom in a fun atmosphere with your friends!
HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America)
Promotes career opportunities for knowledge, skill, and leadership development in the health care industry.
Math Week
Students participate in a poster contest, math trivia, challenges and other math activities to win prizes.
Musical
Be a part of a full-scale musical production through acting, singing, dancing, pit orchestra, or technical crew.
National Honor Society
Students demonstrate their all-around ability to balance school activities with the community. Inducted NHS members work on Chapter Events and Service Projects.
One Act Play
Join a cast and crew which performs in a short traveling competition play with other Wisconsin theater programs.
Skills USA
Geared to prepare students for careers in trade, technical, and skilled service occupations.
Spanish Club
Take Spanish as an elective and be a member of the Spanish Club. You will begin learning a language spoken by more than 34 million people in the United States.
Student Council
As a part of council, students develop leadership skills, plan student activities, and address student issues and concerns about school.
Teen Court
Students help their peers make responsible decisions and be accountable for their actions.
TLC Coffee Service
Students run a school-based business and interact with real customers and real on-the-job scenarios to learn life skills.
Trap Shooting Club
Take aim and be a part of the skeet shooting organization formed in 2012. Participate in virtual shoots and practices at several ranges.
Unified Champion Schools Club
This club brings youths with and without intellectual disabilities together through education and sports to create school communities of acceptance and respect.
