Welcome to Northland Pines High School, home of the Eagles!
Our mission as a school and community is to help all Northland Pines High School students reach their dreams and goals. We want to do that through building positive relationships at school and in our communities by offering a large amount of high quality options for learning that can occur in school and also outside of the classroom walls.
To reach our mission and support our students and families, our community has blessed us with an amazing facility. Whether you are learning in a classroom, watching a show in our state of the art auditorium, or playing a game in the Fieldhouse our students know they are not limited, and in most cases can accomplish anything they set their mind to. If we are not able to offer a class or a skill, then we are able to enhance those opportunities through our distance learning lab or through partnerships with colleges like Nicolet College. Our facilities are only more impressive when you walk out the door and see the amazing fields and woods that our students can learn and participate in. Learning at Northland Pines High School is not the only thing most students get, they can build a house, grow their own food in the greenhouse, or cook it in our commercial kitchen, and much more. The definition of a classroom is no longer defined by walls and chairs.
The passion to reach our mission is very important. We continually look at ways to improve our student outcomes through any means we can. Technology has played a key role in making our mission possible. Our students all are provided with a Chromebook and the wireless capabilities to make many opportunities come to life. We have been awarded a Fab Lab Grant from the state of Wisconsin and partnered with the Vilas County Economic Development Corporation to add even newer and better capabilities for our students, staff, and community.
All the items mentioned above would not happen without the great staff at Northland Pines High School. Our staff is highly trained and is always looking for ways to improve. They have the passion and desire to help all students reach their goals and dreams. With all stakeholders having the mindset that a Northland Pines High School graduate can do anything they want if they are willing to work hard, then the potential is endless for our students.
