I  graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education with a minor in Special Education and I received my Masters of Education through Viterbo University.  I continued my education by obtaining my National Board Certification in 2012 and in 2013, I earned my 316 Reading licensure. Both of these have helped me reflect on how I can help my students grow independently and how I can teach strategies that encourage my students to become life-long readers. My family is important to me and we love spending time together and surrounding ourselves with friends!  Because we enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places, we love traveling the country on our "roadtrips to nowhere."  I also love meeting students through school activites such as Girl's Club, Girl's Power Night, The Middle School Talent Show, and The 8th grade Play.
