ALL STAFF BELIEVE IN ALL STUDENTS
Welcome to the Northland Pines School District! We believe that ALL STUDENTS have dreams and abilities which we can and will support to help them reach their career or work goals. We support the whole child, with social/emotional support and many opportunities for academic growth. Opportunities in the arts, sports, and many other areas contribute to rounding out a complete student. Our traditional schools excel; however, we also offer three charter schools with different learning methods that can further enhance student outcomes.
We have a lot to offer and we pride ourselves with having an excellent staff, an environment rich for learning, strong curriculum, above state average test scores, and school accountability report card scores that Meet or Exceed Expectations. We also offer state of the art technology, many co-curricular offerings and great facilities.
Part of our continuous improvement was to come up with a new Mission Statement. A new Mission Statement was drafted and approved by the school board July 2019. It reads, "The Northland Pines community guarantees rigor, relevance, and relationships to prepare all learners for life." We prioritized the information we received from parent, student, community and staff surveys on what we value and what our district is about. We will use the new Mission Statement to make decisions on our budget, staffing and most importantly how we educate our students!
Community is very important to us! We receive strong community and business support as we continue to develop many partnerships in the community and throughout the surrounding area. We also want to give back to our community by opening our facilities up for use. Please feel free to visit us at any time and tour our wonderful facilities! Our students and staff also regularly volunteer at numerous events throughout the year. We encourage our students and staff to be good citizens by giving back to our community out of gratitude for all our community does to support public education in the Northland Pines School District.
