Indoor spinning is the perfect cardio for those whose hearts start pumping and feet start moving just listening to a great song. Motivational music is the key to a fun yet challenging spin class, and these beats will make you forget how hard your body is working (and sweating)! All experience levels are welcome. Love biking, but not when it’s cold outside? Love running, but your joints are getting tired? Or are you a cardio novice looking for a new group fitness class? Then this is the class for you!

Strength & circuits with weights, body weight, functional training, plyometrics, low / mid cardio and balance exercises to provide a full body workout. Adapt any exercise to your fitness level. We will exercise outdoors as much as possible during the summer. If you are looking to strength train twice a week, get stronger, challenge yourself, hit goals, establish a consistent routine and workout with a fun group, then join us this summer on Monday and Wednesday mornings!

A chair-based Yoga class where the poses are modified to address limited flexibility and balance issues. Our focus is to improve flexibility, ease of movement, strength, balance, and reduce stress. Our class is open and supportive of all levels of ability.

This program is designed for those who have difficulty getting up and down from the floor, and tend to shy away from traditional yoga. All our poses will be standing or sitting and will incorporate the use of light weights throughout the session. This class has a specific focus towards beginners but is a great addition to a weekly program for yogis of all levels.

Build strength from the inside out in this energizing, low-impact class designed for all fitness levels. Core Circuit Yoga Flow blends mindful yoga movement with targeted core work to enhance stability, balance, and overall muscle tone. With modifications offered throughout, move at your own pace while still feeling challenged & supported. Expect to feel stronger, more aligned, and refreshed — with the added bonus of improved posture, increased confidence, and clothes that fit just a little better. Come as you are, and flow your way to a healthier, stronger you!

HIIT meets X-fit. Are you tired of traditional weight training? Mix it up with high intensity cross training! Every class is different, with a mix of cardio, weight training and gymnastics movements to help you build strength, endurance and flexibility. We will work with barbells, dumbbells and kettlebells, as well as body-weight movements in a variety of workout formats. Learn new skills and hone old ones in an atmosphere that is both encouraging and challenging.. Co-Ed. Instructor is a CrossFit enthusiast/CrossFit level 1 trainer (CF-L1).

This class provides a gentle stretching workout to improve flexibility, balance and strength. Mats, yoga blocks, hand weights, exercise balls, bands and any other equipment will be provided by the Pines Community Wellness Center.
Our Personal Trainer is Certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, has a Tactical Strength & Conditioning Certification, as well as CPR and First Aid. Our Facility has a wide range of cardio & strength training equipment. Personal Training Staff can work to familiarize you with gym & weightlifting equipment, assess physical strength & weaknesses, create a custom workout, set goals, provide physical & mental guidance in a gym setting, monitor progress, emphasize proper form to prevent injury & coordinate with your customized Physical Therapy plan.

Relax & Refresh yoga is the perfect midday break! This class allows you time to slow down, relax, and reconnect. You'll be guided through a series of yoga postures that build strength, balance, and flexibility. Calming breathwork and a guided relaxation help to regulate your nervous system. Dim lighting and soft music in the background add to the experience. You'll leave class feeling relaxed, refreshed, and ready for the rest of the day!

This program is designed for our senior population who want to build stability and balance through increased strength. We will use light weights, lots of stretching and work on increasing our range of motion. Most of our exercises will be standing or sitting and can be supported by incorporating a chair or the wall for stability. We will use light weights throughout class and will bring in blocks, straps and other props to assist in deepening our stretches. This class is good for seniors, those in recovery, and anyone with movement challenges who is interested in working in a guided class setting.

(Not a drop in class) A community-based strength training program aimed at mid-life and older individuals. Each class includes progressive weight training, flexibility and balance activities. The cost of the program is $60.00 for 2 days a week. An optional 30-minute warm up in the PCWC.

This is a Co-Ed advanced senior class for active and experienced adults. The class includes strength training, endurance, stability, flexibility, coordination, some floor exercises, and no to low impact cardio. Many participants who have rehabilitated injuries, replaced joints, medical conditions and special circumstances are taken care of with qualified trainers instructing the class.

Balance effort and ease as we begin with basic yoga postures, actively developing muscle strength, stamina and flexibility -YANG. The second slower paced half, we hold postures longer, working deep connective tissue creating space in the joints YIN. Suitable for occasional or established practicers.
