Circuit training is the "Musical Chairs" of the exercise world. Move from one exercise to the next untilt he circuit is complete. Perform multiple circuits throughout the class. A mix of cardio, strength, functional movement, plyometrics, and balance exercises. Expect to get your heart rate raised and to build muscle and endurance. You can adapt any exercise to your current level of fitness. Never be bored with this always changing Circuit Breaker class!

A chair-based Yoga class where the poses are modified to address limited flexibility and balance issues. Our focus is to improve flexibility, ease of movement, strength, balance, and reduce stress. Our class is open and supportive of all levels of ability.

HIIT meets X-Fit. Are you tired of traditional weight training? Mix it up with high intensity cross training! Every class is different, with a mix of cardio, weight training and gymnastics movements to help you build strength, endurance and flexibility. We will work with barbells, dumbbells and kettlebells, as well as body-weight movements in a variety of workout formats. You will learn new skills and hone old ones in an atmosphere that is both encouraging and challenging. Co-Ed. Instructor is a CrossFit enthusiast/CrossFit level 1 trainer (CF-L1).

This class provides a gentle stretching workout to improve flexibility, balance and strength. Mats, yoga blocks, hand weights, exercise balls and any other equipment will be provided by the Pines Community Wellness Center.

This is a flowing (Vinyasa) sequence that is invigorating and strengthening to the entire body, while also encouraging flexibility and relaxation.

This class will focus on building strength, flexibility, improve mobility, and balance. We build endurance through yoga postures while moving energy through the body. This class is suitable for those who practice occassionally and those with an established yoga practice. All levels are welcome.

Balance effort and ease as we begin with basic yoga postures, actively developing muscle strength, stamina and flexibility -YANG. The second slower paced half, we hold postures longer, working deep connective tissue creating space in the joints-YIN. This class is suitable for those who practice occasionally and those with an established practice.
Days/Times: Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

The Strong Bodies Program is for all ages of men and women. It is based upon extensive scientific research and is a series of exercises performed repeatedly over a period of at least 10 weeks. Each session includes easy to learn exercises with progressive weight training, flexibility, and balance activities. People with health concerns such as arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, obesity, and back pain often benefit the most from this program. All registration forms & program payments are due prior to the first session. This is not a drop-in class and 10 week attendance is expected, but not required to hold your spot. PCWC membership is not required. You also get 30 minutes prior to the session time to warm up on the exercise machines or indoor track included in your program registration.
